Mary Agnes Higgins, 75, of Glencoe, Ohio died Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Acuity Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, WV.

She was born March 6, 1941 in Lafferty, Ohio, daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Novak Holloway.

Mary Agnes was retired from Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking, bingo and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger William Higgins Sr.; a sister, Ruth Ann Holloway and six brothers, Jacob Jr., Richard, Oscar, Jerry, Joey and Chuck Holloway.

Surviving are her two children, Roger W. (Sue) Higgins Jr. and Margaret (Tarry) Phyillaiere; three grandchildren, Rachel (Drew) Workman, Megan Higgins (Tony) and Rebecca Higgins (Josh); a great grandson, Mason James Workman; a sister, Clara Lee (Harry) Danley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Jan Higgins, Mark Higgins and Betty Ann Holloway; special friends, Chuck and Martha Gump; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
