Mary Louise Helms, 89, of Neffs, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Shadyside Care Center.  She was born March 2, 1934, in Kansas, IL, a daughter of the late Steven and Mildred Mc Vicker Holub.

Louise was former Seamstress with Bellaire Garment and a member of Clarksburg United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting blankets and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene I. Helms in 2013; two sons, Jeffrey and Richard Helms; a brother, Tom Holub; two sisters, Margaret Spoon and Linda Jean Phillips

Surviving are her children, three sons, David Helms of Bellaire, OH., Steven (Kathryn) Helms of Barnesville, OH., Gene (Sue) Helms, Jr. of Jacobsburg, OH; a daughter, Susan (Tim) Saffell of Flushing, OH; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and two on the way.

Private graveside services will be held on Friday at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
