Mary Margaret Greenlee McClelland, 82 of Beallsville, Ohio died Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Monroe County Care Center in Woodsfield, Ohio.
She was born October 26, 1926 in Glencoe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Theodore Crall and Beulah Wheeler Crall.
Mary was a Christian by faith, member of Powhatan VFW Post 5565 Ladies Auxiliary, and American Gold Star Mothers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Duane F. Greenlee, and Charles McClelland; two sons, Duane T. Greenlee and Charles Henry McClelland; a great granddaughter, Makayla Phillips.
Surviving are eight children, Jack (Bow) Greenlee of Jacobsburg, Dianna (Terry "Auger") Armann of Beallsville, Barbara Brown of Odessa, Texas, Brenda (Charles) Payne of Dallas, Texas, Jim (Bobbi Jo) Greenlee of Clarington, Beulah Mary Jo (Jerry "O") Palmer of Clarington, John Greenlee of Powhatan Point, and George (Donna) Greenlee of Clarington; a brother, Russell Crall of Florida; sisters, Bonnie Kirkland of Mechanicstown, Ohio and Theodora "Peeper" Christy of Rittman, Ohio.; 27 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter.; she was also preceded by a step daughter, Jelena Usenick; and survived by step daughters, Jennifer Jefferies of Bellaire and Judy McMillan of St. Clairsville; 6 step grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor George Coffman officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery, Powhatan VFW Ladies Auxiliary will conduct services at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
