Mary Delores Fiutem, 94, of St. Clairsville died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at her home.

She was born January 27, 1923 in Crescent, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Smigiel and Frances Blozy Smigiel.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and the Catholic Women's Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Fiutem; two sons, Robert Fiutem and Paul "Pork" Fiutem; a brother, John Smigiel; a sister, Julia Sikole; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Fiutem.

Surviving are two children, Phyllis (Larry) Eagle of Bethesda, and Angelo (Paula) Fiutem of St. Clairsville; a daughter-in-law, Linda Fiutem of St. Clairsville; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Friday at 10 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Chillog the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

A vigil service will be held at 3:50 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
