DUNFEE, Mary Blanche, 88 of Belmont, Ohio died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Barnesville Health Care Center.
She was born in Graysville, Ohio on April 4, 1923, daughter of the late Thomas Jay Christy and Nettie Carpenter Christy.
Mary Blanche was a retired library aide from Union Local Schools after 27 years of service. She was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Centerville and a member of Centerville Senior Center.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wilson Dunfee; 4 brothers, Allen, Roy, Edmund and Paul Christy.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Sarah (Bob) Bassler, Margie Filichia both of Columbus, Mary Ellen (Jack) Hannahs of Barnesville, Sandra (Tom) Snyder of Belmont and Susan (Keith) Ogilbee of Jacobsburg; a son, Dean (Loretta) Dunfee of Belmont; 11 grandchildren, Chris Bassler, Crystal Pietranton, Melissa Luyster, Allison Dunfee, Eric and Tyler Dunfee, Christin Snyder, Tom Snyder, Kimberly Ogilbee, Kevin and Kurtis Ogilbee; 5 great grandchildren, Colten and Rylan Luyster, Ella Pietranton, Sean and Calvin Snyder; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Diane Jefchak officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Centerville.
