Mary Katherine Brown, 79 of Glencoe Rd., Jacobsurg died Friday, December 16, 2005 at Wheeling Hospital
She was born September 14, 1926 in Elm Grove. A daughter of the late Roscoe Pelkey and Mary Forshey Pelkey.
She was a retired cook from the Hudson and Clarendon restaurants in St.Clairsville and a Lutheran.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bob and Charles Pelkey; a sister, Margaret Johnson.
Surviving are her husband, George M. Brown; daughters, Mary Jean Thornton of Neffs, Betty Ann Knight of Piedmont, and Sarah Louise Richards of St.Clairsville; a sister, Helen Hitchings of Belmont; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Burial follows in Powhatan Cemetery
