Mary H. Blehschmidt, 64, of Cadiz, OH formerly of Bridgeport, OH died Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born October 14, 1956 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Frederick Lee and Laura Anne Weiss Slaven.

Mary was a longtime LPN Cardiac Nurse at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH; a former member of Bridgeport Eagles and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Martins Ferry and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Blehschmidt in 2004.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Gary) Griffith of Cadiz; a sister, Laura Prokes of Cadiz; three grandchildren, Jenna, Laura and Tyler Griffith; a niece, Heather (Anthony) Prokes Borkoski; a nephew, A.J. Blehschmidt; a great nephew, Tristan Borkoski; a great niece, Ava Borkoski.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Funeral Services on Tuesday at 10:30 am with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, OH.
