Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Bibbee, 74, of St. Clairsville died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born in Neffs, Ohio on May 21, 1932, daughter of the late Charles Howard Howell and Margaret Ellen Crymble Howell.

Betty was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bibbee Sr. in 1998.

Surviving are her children, Debra (Joseph) Osisek of Orlando, Florida, Robert L. (Lori) Bibbee Jr. of Maumee, Ohio and Penny (Lon) Janezic of St. Clairsville; seven grandchildren, Dustin and Sean Janezic both of St. Clairsville, Ryan Saffell of Orlando, Florida, Mandy Luke of Edgerton, Ohio, Lori Florence of Defiance, Ohio, Ashley Grandy of Edgerton, Ohio and Lindsey Bibbee of Leo, Indiana; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy Givens of Key Ridge, Ohio and Beverly Devorace of New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.
