Mary Lou Baker, 96, of Belmont, OH passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH.  She was born October 29, 1926, in Businessburg, OH., a daughter of the late Wilbur Day and Ina Leona Finnicum Day Wood.

Mary Lou was a homemaker and a member of United Wesleyan Church in Bellaire, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Fred Wood; her husband, Clarence Guy "Bud" Baker, Jr.; sons, Danny Joe Baker, Bruce A. Baker; siblings, Jimy Bryan, Bill, Dale, Bradley Day, Sue Ann Cupp.

Surviving are her children, Clarence Guy "Butch" (Pam) Baker, III and Cynthia Lou (Carl) Funkhouser both of Belmont; a brother, Darby Day of Key, OH; six grandchildren; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-5 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services on Friday at 2 pm with Rev. Ray Benesh officiating.  Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
