Mary Margaret Archer, 81 of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Glencoe died Monday, January 4, 2010 in Shadyside, at the home of her youngest daughter, Cindy.

She was born February 29, 1928 in Warwood, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John W. Schoeppner and Catherine Theresa Wolf Schoeppner.

Mary was retired co-owner of the former Archer & Sons Repair Service in Bethesda, a former employee of Riesbeck?s Food Market in St. Clairsville, and a member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor James "Jim" Archer; a grandson, Zachary Simone.

Surviving are her children, Cathy (Rusty) Yochum of St. Clairsville, Vicky Fowler of Uniontown, Taylor James "Jim" Archer III of Wellsville, Cindy Archer of Shadyside, John (Lisa) Archer of Cambridge, Mike (Darlene) Archer of Shadyside, Mark (Barbara) Archer of St. Clairsville, and Tom (Mary Lynne) Archer of St. Clairsville; a sister, Barbara Ann Slovick of Bellaire; a brother, John Edward (Betty) Schoeppner of Bellaire; 25 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at East Richland Evangelical Friends Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery.
