Obituary
Mary Lee Applegarth, 68 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center in St. Clairsville.
She was born September 16, 1945 in Batesville, Indiana, a daughter of the late John Harry Timmerman and Ella Jean Morman Timmerman.
She was a retired dental assistant for Dr. Jack Parsons in St. Clairsville and a Catholic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Applegarth.
Surviving are her three children, James Christopher (Lisa) Velas II of Falmouth, Maine, Robin Ann (Doug) Shanks of St. Clairsville, and Jennifer Lynn (Joseph) Gray of St. Clairsville; brothers, John (Sue) Timmerman of Columbus, Ohio and Bill (Jean) Timmerman of Indiana; a sister, Jean (Jack) Hall of Indiana; six grandchildren, James Michael Velas, Tyler Allen Shanks, Katlyn Michelle Shanks, Luke Alexander Velas, Jaylyn Nicole Gray, and Joseph James Gray.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.
A private Interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
