Burkhart, Marvin Wayne, 57, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

He was born August 26, 1953, son of the late Otis Randal Burkhart, Sr. and Melba Burkhart.

He was a loving husband, wonderful father and proud "pap". He was a farmer, and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was formerly employed by Turf Cure Supply and Triangle PWC. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, reading and playing cards.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Janice Simpson Burkhart; a son, Isaac (Dorothy) Burkhart; daughters, Sarah (Randy) Tyrell, and Jessica (Jon) Bugay; grandkids, Miles and George Burkhart, Lia and Jace Tyrell; two brothers, Randy, Jr. and Ronnie; ten sisters, Lorraine, Linda, Sharon, Nelda, Carol, Nadine, Deanna, Lisa, Jenny, and Leanne; many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and neighbors.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.

Belmont County Council of American Legions will conduct military services at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
