Martin Edward "Marty" Litten, 78, of Flushing, Ohio died Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1940 in Flushing, Ohio, a son of the late Crawford and Hilda Lucille Lee Litten.

Marty was owner and operator of Litten Trucking and a heavy equipment operator also having worked for R & F Coal and Consolidation Coal Co. He was a member of the Flushing Volunteer Fire Department for 45 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Betty "Janie" Johnson Litten.

Surviving are his three sons, Chad E. (Devin) Litten of Columbus, Lloyd L. (Leslie) Litten of Columbus and Richard E. (Heather) Litten of Canton; six grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle and Kasey, Timmy, Cassidy and Riley; a great granddaughter, Ava; a brother, Richard and a sister, Norma Jean Anderson.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where visitation will also be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.  Private burial will be held in Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
