Obituary

Martha Evelyn Neff, age 72, of Glencoe, Ohio died Monday, November 22, 2004 at her home. She was born October 30, 1932 at Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank and Gussie Lucas Myers.

She was a retired employee of the Marx Toy Factory at Glen Dale, West Virginia. Martha was a member of the Belmont United Presbyterian Church at Key Ridge, Bellaire; the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 52; a life member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary Post # 626 both at Bellaire and a past chair of the district for the MOCA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. "Dick" Neff; a daughter, Donna Neff; a son, Joseph "Duke" Neff; three brothers, Paul, Clarence and Charles Myers; and four sisters, Audrey Hurst, Alice Jackson, Ethel Garrett and Leona Carson.

Surviving are three sons, Rick Neff of Neffs, Ed Neff and Jim Neff both of Bellaire; three daughters, Shirley White and Karen Neff both of Glencoe and Jackie Wright of Neffs; a sister, Pauline Hess of St. Joe and brother-in-law, Tom "Zeke" Carson; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon, with Pastor Gerald Blon officiating. Burial will follow at Warnock Cemetery.
