Martha Ellen Green Kazmirski, born February 16, 1943, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Howard and Mildred Abel Green, died Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Forest Hill Nursing Facility.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant grandson, Adam, her husband, Larry Kazmirski, her brother-in-law, Michael Kazmirski, and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Bowen Kazmirski.

Surviving are her sons, Gregory (Lisa) Kazmirski and Michael Kazmirski of St. Clairsville, a brother, Jim Green of Powhatan, grandsons, Lukas, Cole (Jordan), Gannon and Harison Kazmirski all of St. Clairsville, and Matt (Alecia) Furbee of Zanesville, great grandchildren, Emory and Walker, and Bella, Lilly, Lincoln and Bowen.

Martha obtained her teaching degree from Ohio University, and then her Master’s of education from the University of Dayton. She taught at Bridgeport Schools, her alma mater, for several years. She was an elementary teacher at Westbrook until retirement in 2004. Martha was inducted into the Bridgeport Alumni Association Hall of Fame in 2021. Martha was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church.

Private funeral services were held by the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
