Marlene Mae Slotwinski, 83, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died May 29, 2020 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born May 5, 1937 in Neffs, Ohio, daughter of the late Ernest Jasper and Rose Krotky Jasper.
Marlene was a Master Hairstylist for JCPenney Styling Salon for 17 years. In retirement, she worked as a floral designer and volunteered at St. Clairsville Area Council of Churches Food Pantry. She was a lifelong member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville where she was a member of the Isabella Thoburn and Mary Reed Circles. She was also member of Wilson-Shannon Questers. Marlene enjoyed golf, sewing and crafts.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Slotwinski, her sister, Kathleen Green, and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Surviving are her two children, Mitchell L. Slotwinski and Carrie Jo (John) Bruner of Centerville, two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Carson Bruner, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Private Visitation and Services will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St Clairsville on Monday, June 1st from 11 a.m. until time of Service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, safe social distancing guidelines, including masks, will be followed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Thoburn United Methodist Church or the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
