Mark Paul Smerczynski, 46 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 5, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born September 20, 1974 in Danvers, Massachusetts, a son of Paul Smerczynski and the late Kathleen Ann Coyne Smerczynski Street.

He was well known for his amazing sense of humor. He had a passion for cooking and made his career out of masonry and landscaping. He loved wrestling, being active and spending time with his dog Brutus. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kathy Street.

Mark is survived by his father, Paul (Martha) Smerczynski; his stepfather, Bill Street; his sister, Kristin (Chip) Atkinson; his brother, Brian (Launa) Smerczynski; two nieces, Jadelyn Smerczynski and Kaitlyn Smerczynski; and two nephews, Josh Smerczynski and Lucas Smerczynski.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, facial coverings and social distancing is required during a public visitation for friends and family at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville which will be held on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A private service will be held for the immediate family at 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
