Mark Andrew Balcar, 70, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home.  He was born November 24, 1952, in Wheeling, WV., a son of the late Frank A. and Lenor Walter Balcar.

Mark was the business owner of Rock Drillers and Specialized Drilling and also was the vice-president of BBR Drilling, a member of Christian Apostolic Church and a trustee of the Bethesda Sportsman Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce A. Balcar and Paul C. Balcar; a nephew, Jason Paul Balcar.

Surviving are three sons, Mark Alexander Balcar of Ruston, LA., Eric Michael Balcar of St. Clairsville and Adam Christopher Balcar of Ruston, LA; two sisters, Barbara Balcar of St. Clairsville and Karen Balcar McGraw of Taylors, SC; one granddaughter, Aliviah Noel Balcar of Ruston, LA.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3-6 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville.  Private funeral services will be held at Christian Apostolic Church with Brother Dan Ponzani officiating.  Burial in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
