Marjorie Murphy, 94, passed after a long life and a brief illness at Liza's Place. She was a private midwestern raised woman of strong will. Marge was a homemaker and former owner and cofounder of Cherry Tree Toys.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Murphy; her parents Raymond and Margaret; two brothers, Lester and Wesley; sister, Viola; and infant great grandson, John.
Marge is survived by her husband, Lee Marshall; three sons, Michael (Annie) Murphy, Gary (Janet) Murphy and David (Nancy) Murphy; four grandchildren, Erin (Kevin) Roush, Sarah (Hunter) Lane, Dana (Brandon) Tartaglia, and Megan Murphy; six great grandchildren; a sister, Marie; also four stepsons, John (Debbie) Marshall, George (Karen) Marshall, Peter (Gayle) Marshall, and Jim (Ruby) Marshall.
There will be a private viewing for family members only and a graveside service in Richland Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
