Marjorie Jane Ewan, 85 of Riggs Road, Bellaire died Friday, January 23, 2004 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire.

She was born at Pipe Creek July 8, 1918 a daughter of the late Dennie Leslie and Martha Ellen Bumgardner Porter.

Marjorie was a Homemaker and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ewan; three brothers, Harry Porter, Dennie Porter and John Porter; two sisters, Cora Belle Hammond and Helen Steadman.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth L. Ewan and wife Adrienne of Bellaire; four daughters, Diana Knight and husband Jan of Powhatan Point, Jo Ellen Bumgardner and husband John of Warnock, Cindy Lou Schramm and husband Jim of Bellaire, Sally Hedger and Keith Christy of Shadyside; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mary Murtha officiating. Burial follows in High Ridge Cemetery, Bellaire.
