Munas, Mariza R. 63 of Maynard Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice in Akron, Ohio.

She was born September 27, 1946 in Erfurt, Germany a daughter of Fred and Mariza Stingl Applegarth.

Mariza was retired manager of the Highland Terrace Mobile Park at St. Clairsville. She was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, member of American Legion Post 159 at St. Clairsville and DAV at Bellaire. Mariza was a devoted loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and a friend to all who met her.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Helen Stingl.

Surviving are her husband, Robert M. Munas; daughters, Christina M. (Dr. John F. Bosi, D.O.) of Lake Harmony, Pa. and Natalie (Marcus) Farr of Akron, Ohio; her parents Fred and Mariza Applegarth of Barton; brother, Robert (Marilyn) Applegarth of Belmont; grandchildren, Andrew and Luke Bosi and Kierra Farr; brothers-in-law, Nick Munas of Akron and Bill Munas of Dayton.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Thomas Graven officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Belmont Co. Council of the American Legion will conduct military honors Thursday at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
