Marilyn June Webster, 91, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday July 3, 2017 at her home.
She was born October 5, 1925 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of the late O. Clyde Gibson and Opal Ruth Mosteller Gibson.
Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a great storyteller and sharer of memories. Everyone left her table full and content. Her home was always open and filled with love. During World War II, Marilyn worked at Stone and Thomas. She was a member and former deacon of First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville. She was a member of the Benjamin Lundy Questers, the North American Miniature Enthusiasts, the Friends of the Library and the St. Clairsville Alumni Association.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, Robert Timothy Webster and a brother, James Gibson.
Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Robert J. "Webbie" Webster; three children, Lynn (Dick Behling) Blaney of Broomfield, Colorado, Jeffrey (Beth Williams) Webster of Grand Island, Florida and Melissa (Joe) Soller of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Matt and Raif Webster, Travis Blaney, Caitie Duncan, Brandy Westmoreland, Melanie Soller and David Soller; eight great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
