Marie Zatezalo, age 90, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Monday, August 28, 2006 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home in St. Clairsville. She was born on July 30, 1916, daughter of the late Salvatore and Theresa Ambrosia Fiore.

Marie was the retired office manager of the former John Zatezalo Insurance and Real Estate Agency in St. Clairsville. She was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and a life member of the American Legion Post # 159 in St. Clairsville. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and a member of the Evergreens.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Zatezalo; a sister, Annette Caracciolo; and three brothers, John Fiore, Frank Fiore and Salvatore Fiore Jr.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Thursday at 10 a.m., with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant. There will be a committal service on Saturday at Holy Cross Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The American Legion will conduct services on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary?s Catholic Church or the charity of the donor?s choice.
