LORENTZ, Marie R., 94, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at House of Hearts where she resided for ten years.

She was born in St. Clairsville on June 27, 1918, daughter of the late George O. Ridgeway and Anise D. Luke Ridgeway.

Marie was a retired receptionist from the St. Clairsville Clinic. She had also worked as a mail carrier during World War II. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville, a member of Bridgeport Chapter #452, Order of Eastern Star, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Maynard.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold S. Lorentz; two brothers, James and Parker Ridgeway; three sisters, Mary Ellen Ridgeway, Margaret Rinkes and Virginia O'Neal.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from Noon until time of services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
