Marianne Jenkins, age 72, of St. Clairsville, died Saturday, December 24, 2005 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling. She was born August 16, 1933 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Russell McHugh and Mamie Miller McHugh.

Marianne was a retired legal secretary from Thornburg, Bean and Glick Law Office. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and was a member of the choir for over 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles William McHugh.

Surviving are her husband, Richard E. Jenkins; a daughter, Kathy Smith and her husband Richard of Golden, Colorado; two sisters, Mamie Ellen Kinzy of St. Clairsville and Dorothy DiNapoli of Yorkville; and a brother, Raymond Russell McHugh of Pace, Florida; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Thoburn United Methodist Church, 209 East Main Street, St. Clairsville on Tuesday at 4 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Bradley Call officiating. Arrangements by Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
