Marian Virginia (Kreiter) Hans, 97, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away July 26, 2026, at Liza’s Place Care Center South. She was born July 12, 1929, in Bellaire, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Edward and Pearl Rosena (Ashley) Kreiter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Jack A. Hans (married February 16, 1952), and son-in-law Steve Hamel.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters Pamela (David) Kocsis, Melanie (Chip) Ross and Heidi Hamel, grandchildren Brieanna Kocsis, Jessie Ross and Jack Hamel, her brother and sister-in-law Paul and Dee Kreiter and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 30th from 5-8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jeffrey Croft officiating. The burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
