McEndree, Maria H. "Ria", 71, of St. Clairsville, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008 at Forest Hill Nursing Home. She was born October 10, 1936 in Mainz, Germany, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Maria Schwarz.

Maria was a retired employee of J. C. Penney and a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard.

Maria is survived by her husband, Harry L. McEndree; three sons, Michael F. (Terra) McEndree, Harry E. (Peggy) McEndree and Christian F. (Melissa) McEndree; a sister, Karin (Horst) Mussmacher of Germany; a brother, Franz (Eri) Schwarz of Germany; and 7 grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Graven officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
