Margaret June "Marge" Burghy Barchanowicz passed away in her home on Monday, February 19, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Marie (Ault) Burghy of Belmont, a brother, John (Sonny) Burghy, of St. Clairsville, and a sister, Arlene Burghy Webb of Bethesda.

She is survived by a son, David (Bonnie Bizanovich) Callipare, of St. Clairsville, two grandsons, Mark (Marisa Yost) Callipare, St. Clairsville, Joshua (Jevy Gambeng) Callipare of Virginia Beach, and five great granddaughters, Julia, Brooke, Emma, Genevieve and Sophia; a stepson, Robert (Jennifer) Barchanowicz of Erie; a sister, Lorena (Stanley) Borovich of St. Clairsville; several nieces and nephews, especially, Cheryl (Ryan) Feiock, and their daughter Jessie, Angie (Mark) Reitter and their son, Jared who visited often and helped Marge at home.

Although Marge did not work outside her home and in later years was homebound, she raised David, her foster son, as her own. She babysat children in her home for her family and friends. She was particularly considerate of our Paralyzed American Veterans and she supported them faithfully.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
She will be laid to rest near her parents and sister at Holly Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth St., Washington, DC 20006.
