Waterkotte, Margaret "Peg", 79, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died June 5, 2010 in Liza?s Place, Wheeling, West Virginia.
She was born February 12, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Arthur and Marguerite Flannagan O?Donnell.
Peg served 30 years in social services in Pittsburgh and in Belmont County. She retired as the Executive Director of the Belmont-Harrison-Monroe Mental Health and Recovery Board. Peg also served on the boards of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Belmont County and Florence Crittendon Home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Waterkotte and her daughter, Jennifer Ann Waterkotte.
Surviving are her two sons, Joseph Waterkotte and Michael Waterkotte and his wife Laurie Williams, grandson, Christopher Williams Waterkotte, and the children of Catherine and George Limegrover, all of Pittsburgh, PA.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Homestead, Pennsylvania at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Peg's Life held at the Jerome Bettis Grill, located near Heinz Field, from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
