Obituary
Margaret Louise Thornton, 94, of Pickerington , Ohio , formerly of Bellaire, passed away on November 7, 2012 at Mt Carmel Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, son Ronald, and daughter Virginia. She was the daughter of Thomas and Louise Masters and sister to Mildred, Rhea, Paul, Russell, and Raymond, all deceased.
She is survived by daughters Laura (Jerry- deceased) Davis, Dorothy (Noel) Smithers, and Jeanne (Lou) Postage. She had 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren.
Margaret was involved in many community organizations during her time in Bellaire. She loved to play euchre. She was a strong, confident, loving and ornery woman. She adored all of her grandchildren and was always surrounded by pictures of them.
Arrangements are by Toothman Funeral Home, 141 S. Marietta Street , St. Clairsville Ohio 43959. Visitation will be Friday, November 9th from 4-8 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 10th at 1 pm. Burial to follow at Davis Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Violet Township Fire Fighters Association, 8700 Refugee Rd, Pickerington Ohio 43147.
