Margaret "Peggy" Jo Porter, age 68, of Bridgeport, Ohio, was surrounded by family at Sunnyslope Nursing Home when she went be with Jesus, Monday, June 5, 2023.

She was born on October 10, 1954, in Glen Dale, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Charles Porter and Donna Howard Porter.

Peggy worked a career in accounting, ending with Paramount Studios in California. Upon moving back from California, she then worked at Goodwill. She always loved music, dancing, and dressing up. She filled a lot of her time doing crafts of any sort and decorating. Peggy was always up for an adventure. She was a woman who could talk to anyone and make friends anywhere. Above all of that, she cared deeply for her dogs and cockatoo. Peggy was a Christian by faith and never missed an opportunity to share what Jesus had done for her!

Peggy is survived by her two children, Heidi Porter, and Marc (Brandy) Wilson; ex-husband and dear friend, Earl Wilson; sister, Cathy (Jim) Carney; brother, Mark Porter; five grandchildren; Kaden Porter, Alexis (Tyler) Lunsford, Kaitlyn Wilson, Emily Wilson, and Lilly Wilson; as well as several nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday, June 10th, 12 – 2 p.m. & 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m.
