Margaret Evelyn Miller, 96, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 10, 2021 at her home.

She was born January 20, 1925 in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late Joseph Merle Doty and Margaret Ann Kocsis Doty.

Margaret graduated from St. Clairsville High School and the Ruth Brant School of Nursing. She was a retired registered Nurse from Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling where she worked in the Operating Room.  She was a memberof First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where she served as Deacon and Elder. She was a member of the Bridgeport Chapter #181, Order of Eastern Star; a member of Wheeling Women's Club and the Thursday Music Club in Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Miller and a brother, William Harvey Doty.

Margaret is survived by two brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter or the First Presbyterian Church both located in St. Clairsville.
