Marcia Kay Eakins, 81, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away March 21, 2022 at Wheeling Medical Park, Wheeling, WV.

Marcia was born September 6, 1940 in Bellaire to the late John and Kathryn (Fehr) Taylor of Lansing.

She was a life-long member of the Lansing United Methodist Church and graduated valedictorian from Bridgeport High School in 1958.  She was an entrepreneur and retired from the U.S. Census Bureau. She loved to celebrate every holiday by decorating her home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eakins, sister, Nancy Prisner, and son-in-law, Ted Ruminski.

Marcia is survived by her daughter, Pam Ruminski; and sons, Jack (Terri) Eakins and Scott (Lisa) Eakins; a sister, Kathy Taylor; five grandchildren, Kaila, Jennifer, Loren, Cody and Nina; four great-grandchildren, Levi, Charlotte, Alice and Flynn; and best friends, her beloved cats, CoCo and Fuzzy Tail.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
