Obituary
Demetrakis, Manuel Gust, 77 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Liza?s Place in Wheeling.
He was born at Wheeling on August 30, 1931 a son of the late Gus and Isabel Neville Demetrakis.
Manuel was a retired college professor of French Studies at California University in California, PA and was an army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Faye Hoffman and a brother, George Demetrakis.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, Kevin L. (Lisa) Hoffman, Erin L. Baugh and Cami S. (Billy) Toothman all of St. Clairsville, Kelli A. (Dave) Richards of Weirton and David L. (Jodie) Hoffman of St. Clairsville; several great nieces and nephews.
It was Manuel?s request that there be no visitation or funeral service. His cremains will be inurned at a later date.
