Mamie Leona McGary, age 89, of Lafferty, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born April 9, 1915 at Lonaconing, Maryland, daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah McIntire Pritts.

Mamie was a member of the Flushing Alliance Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. McGary; and two sisters, Helen Jozwiak and Beulah Anthony.

Surviving are two sons, David McGary of Flushing and Charles McGary of Lafferty; a daughter, Sarah "Sally" Felkley of Kettering, OH; two brothers, Earl Pritts of Canton, OH and David Pritts of Flushing; two sisters, Nellie Yoby of New Athens and Mabel Siswick of Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jack McKimmie officiating. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens, Ohio.
