Malcolm Vaughn Smith II, 81, of Tiltonsville, OH passed away on May 28th, 2026 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born January 3, 1945, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Malcom Smith Sr. and Thelma Davies Smith.

Malcolm retired after many years as a professional truck driver. He loved anything involving the outdoors, guns, watching westerns, guitars, working on cars, taking rides through the woods in a side-by-side, as well as many other hobbies. Malcolm proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era, where he also became a Navy Boxer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two former wives; Carolyn Smith and Sharon Hunley; a daughter Jennifer Hunley; a sister Arnell Hughes; and an infant son.

Surviving are his children; Tina (Matt) Bain, Malcolm Smith III, Melissa Craig, Michelle (Rusty Giffin) Bell, Crystal (Justin Macek) Smith, Amanda Smith, and granddaughter Miana Smith, who he raised; his grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Joshua Bain, Christopher Bain, Casey Bain, Nicalas Bain, Megan Bain, Cody Smith, Aspen Laflam, Jaes Laflam, Tiana Shipe, Noah Giffin, Bryton Giffin, Brady Giffin, Isabelle Giffin, Stephanie Blanco, Hayden Moore, and Daryn Crozier.; 16 great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Patterson; and his special companion Erin E Becker Gibson.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 12-2 P.M. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, OH.
