Csajka, Mae W., 93, of San Antonio, Texas formerly of Maynard and St. Clairsville, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her Home.
She was born in Hillsville, Virginia on September 15, 1914, daughter of the late Claude and Ada Gilley Worrell.
Mae was the retired owner and operator of Mae?s Beauty Shop in Maynard and a retired employee from Loos Pharmacy in St. Clairsville. She was a member of Maynard United Methodist Church where she served on numerous committees and was a member of the United Methodist Women; she served as an election official in Maynard for many years and was active in the Republican Party; a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #666 in Maynard. Mae also enjoyed playing Euchre and Bridge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Csajka; three brothers, Harry, John and Robert Worrell; and two sisters, Josephine Milhoan and Addie Richardson.
Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca J. Hough and her husband Timothy of San Antonio, Texas; two grandsons, Ryan and Zachary Henry both of San Antonio, Texas; four step grandchildren, Renee Gonzalez, Tim and Sean Hough all of San Antonio, Texas and Kathleen Blaydes of fort Worth, Texas; and three step great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., with Rev. James Hildebrand officiating.
