M. Drusilla "Celly" Chipman, 91 of Crescent Rd., St. Clairsville died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at her home.

She was born April 9, 1916 in Hocking County , Ohio, a daughter of the late John Dyson and Myrtle North Dyson.

Celly was a former employee of Patty Lou?s Dress Shop in St. Clairsville, a member of the Church of God in Brookside. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. David Chipman of the St. Clairsville Police Dept.; five brothers, Delbert, John, Iver, Millard, and Rolyn Dyson; a sister, Sylvesta Anderle.

Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Bickmeier of St. Clairsville; three grandchildren, Bob Bickmeier of Columbus, Ohio, Shawnee Withers of Wolfhurst, and Christine (Eric) Mann of Noblesville, Indiana; three great grandchildren, Bob, Ashley, and Carrie.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Tennant officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
