Elerick, Luther Warren "Luke", 61 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
He was born May 29, 1952 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Paul J. Elerick and Letha Morgan Elerick of St. Clairsville.
Luke was a barber and owner/operator of Snips Hair Design in St. Clairsville, a protestant by faith and U.S. Army veteran.
He loved camping, horseback riding, riding his Victory motorcycle, and spending time with his dog and best friend, Winston.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Maria Juliet Elerick.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are a son, John Luke Elerick of Los Angeles, CA.; a sister, Barbara (David) Jones of Wooster, Ohio; brothers, Paul (Leona) Elerick of St. Clairsville, and Gregory (Lou Ann) Elerick of Darnstown, MD.; several nieces and nephews; and his extended family, the staff at Snips.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Bro. Dan Ponzani and Rev. Darrell McVay officiating.
A private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family in Unity Cemetery, New Athens, Ohio.
