Obituary

Luetta E. Trigg, 90, of Bellaire, Ohio, passed peacefully on October 7, 2021.

She was born June 22, 1931, in Neffs, Ohio, a daughter of the late Russell E. Davis and Jane D. Kirby Davis.

Luetta was a faithful member of the St. Joe Road Church of Christ. She loved caring for her family, cooking, and serving. She worked as a seamstress for 25 years at Bobbie Brooks, Jonathan Logan and the 5 B's garment factories.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis W. Trigg; two sisters, Doris Lendon and Nettie Savage; and two brothers, Lawrence and Robert Davis.

Luetta is survived by three daughters, Patricia (Paul) Ondrick of Belmont, Mary Ellen (Garry) Goldsmith and Kathy Sechrest both of Heath; six grandchildren, Shelly (Robert) James of St. Clairsville, Kari (Scott) Werkhoven of Reynoldsburg, Jane (Andrew) Olmsted of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Richard (Shontai) Goldsmith of Heath, Michael (Kristin) Goldsmith and Matthew Sechrest of Heath; a sister, Margaret (Jack) Bailey of Neffs; a sister-in-law, Wendy Davis; eleven great-grandchildren, Bethany, Kadyn, Meghan, Melanie, Katelynn, Kiersten, Annie, Emily, Eli, Easton and Jana; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Wednesday from Noon until time of service at 2 p.m. with Paul Marty officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joe Road Church of Christ.
