PLANEY, Luella C., 97, of St. Clairsville, went to be with her Lord and family on Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home.

She was born in Stewartsville, Ohio, on November 23, 1915, daughter of the late James F. and Martha Keys Clark.

Luella was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker extraordinaire and excellent cook. She was a member of the Clarksburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing hymns; she also loved bingo and her kittens, Bella and Sammy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 brothers, Elmer, Harry, Howard, Albert, Ross, William, Lester, Cale, Herbert, Raymond and Clarence Clark; and a sister, Helen Kozak.

Surviving are her son, Joseph (Paula) Planey of St. Clairsville; her daughter, Tish (Frank) Olinski of Maynard; 7 grandchildren, Bryan (Kim) Planey, John Paul (Tammy) Sroka, Stephen (Holly) Sroka, Tommie (Alvie) McGlothlin, Ginny (Matt) VanHorn, Jason (Rebecca) Olinski and Darrin (Wendy) Olinski; 11 great grandchildren, Zackary, Hanna, Emma and Johnna Sroka, Natalie and Brenna Planey, Gabby Miller, Brendan, Genavive, Evelyn and Walter Olinski; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
