Luella "Dot" Demarchi, age 83, of Flushing, Ohio, died Thursday, February 13, 2003 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born September 15, 1919 at Holloway, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred and Cora Dean.

She was a retired cook from Star Nursing Home, Belmont, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Silvio James Demarchi; and a son, Paul Demarchi.

Surviving are her son, William Demarchi of Elyria, Ohio; five grandchildren, Brad Demarchi of Lafferty, Justin Demarchi of Flushing, Ryan Demarchi of Cleveland, OH, Lisa Demarchi of North Olmstead, OH, and Michelle Ortiz of Elyria, OH; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Edward of Dayton, OH; two sisters, Freda "Till" of Smyrna, OH and Shirley of Urichsville, OH.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
