Lucille Copeland Brownfield, 92, of Colerain, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center in St. Clairsville.

She was born in Adena, Ohio on September 4, 1924, daughter of the late Benny and Elizabeth Copello.

Lucille was a homemaker and loved to cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Brownfield; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Giacobbi and Marietta Hatfield; and a brother, Benny Copeland Jr.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Connie J. Gerritz and her husband Albert of Tucson, Arizona, a sister, Josephine Hatfield of Sandusky, Ohio; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, 141 S. Marietta St., St. Clairsville, with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
