SHAW, Louise Beverly, 77, of St. Clairsville, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Valley Hospice Care Center South.

She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, on April 12, 1934, daughter of the late Thomas and Caroline Morris.

Louise was a retired employee of the St. Clairsville Utilities Office. She was a member of the Lloydsville United Methodist Church; the American Legion Auxiliary Post 159 in St. Clairsville; the Bridgeport Chapter 452 Order of Eastern Star; a member of the Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority; the Martins Ferry Alumni Association; the Red Devil Moms and the Red Devil Band Parents.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Cause and Mary Ann Morris; and a brother, Edwin Morris.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 58 years, Willard A. Shaw. They were united in marriage September 12, 1953. Also surviving are two sons, Thomas F. Shaw of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania and Mark A. Shaw of Struthers, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ian C. Shaw of Dublin, Ohio and Johnna E. Shaw of Campbell, Ohio; and a sister, Caroline Wilson of Martins Ferry.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gene Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
