Louise M. Barrett, 83 of Bellaire, Ohio died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her home.

She was born October 26, 1934 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Anna Yakubow Kostelia and John Kostelia.

Louise was a retired Dental Hygienist, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs, Dayton Dental Hygienists Association, Ohio Dental Hygienists Association, American Dental Hygienists Association, Glencoe American Legion Post 632, and a 1957 graduate of Ohio State University.

Surviving are her sister, Sue (Steve) Vavrek of Bellaire; her brother, John Kostelia of Lake Worth, FL; nieces and nephews, Amber (Michael) Kacsmar, Adam (Wendy) Vavrek, Aimee Vavrek, Melissa Kostelia, and Celena Washeck; great nieces and nephew, Braxton, Mia, and Henley.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs on Friday at 11 a.m. with Father Dan Heusel the celebrant.

Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery.

Military honors will be provided by the Belmont County Council of American Legions on Friday at the church.
