Louise Banfield, 92, of St. Clairsville, died Monday, August 25, 2014 in Park Health Center.

She was born on October 16, 1921 in Littleton, West Virginia, daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie Harker Sayre.

Louise was a homemaker and member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. Banfield; a daughter, Anita Banfield; four brothers, Bearl, James, Louis and Perman Sayre; and three sisters, Jeanette Snedeker, Pansy Sayre and Wilma Emfield.

Surviving are her two sons, Russell B. (Betty) Banfield of St. Clairsville and Richard C. (Sally) Banfield of Mount Perry, Ohio; four grandchildren, David, Anne, Sara and Andrew.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., with Rev. Erica Harley officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
