Louis Tomich, Jr., 72 of St. Clairsville died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at his home.
He was born October 20, 1935 in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, a son of the late Louis Tomich, Sr. and Virginia Brandon Tomich.
Louis was a retired iron worker from Iron Worker's Local 549, a member of Church Alive at Key Ridge, Ohio and a six year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Matthews Tomich; six children, LaRae Yates of Shadyside, Wayne Blinco of Jacobsburg, Dana Sall of St. Clairsville, Sonya Paugh of Flushing, Louis M. Tomich of Shadyside, and Dustin Tomich of Jacobsburg; a sister, Norma Jean Lee of Dayton; a brother, William Tomich, Sr. of St. Clairsville; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.
