Lorna Theresa Sempirek, 83, of Rayland, Ohio, died peacefully Sunday, March 24, 2024, in Belmont Manor Nursing Home in St. Clairsville.

She was preceded in death by her mother Clara Popkie Poldauff and father Joseph Poldauff, in addition to a loving aunt and uncles.

Lorna's passions in life were her children, baking, and her granddogs.  She was a retired baker from Belmont Hills Country Club in St. Clairsville.

Lorna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Sempirek and two children, Rodney Sempirek and Valerie (Robert) Lachendro.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Belmont Manor and Valley Hospice for taking such wonderful care of Lorna.  Honoring her wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
