Loretta Ann "Lori" Fannin, 69, of Belmont, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Select Specialty Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. Lori was born December 24, 1956 in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ronald T. and Jeannine L. Johnstone Fannin.

Lori retired from the Belmont County Auditors Office. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio, Pickleball Club, the Nourishing Committee for the Church, and served on many election polls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory J. Fannin and David M. Fannin.

Surviving are her brother, Daniel J. Fannin of Germantown, Maryland; her companion, Charles “Lee” Kurth of St. Clairsville; two nephews, Michael Fannin and Josh Fannin; and many friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor Ian Thornton officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Clairsville Food Pantry or Belmont County Animal Shelter.
