Lonnie Jean Bolyard, 83, of St. Clairsville died March 28, 2020 in Summit Acres Care Center, Caldwell, Ohio.

He was born November 21, 1936 in Fellowsville, West Virginia, son of the late Russell Bolyard and Grace Wolfe Bolyard Knotts.

Lonnie was retired from Ohio Valley Coal Company.  He was a U.S. Marine Corps and Navy Veteran. He was a Baptist by faith and attended First Baptist Church in Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Ronald Bolyard and a sister, Irene Long.

Surviving are his brother, Elwood Bolyard of Bolivar, Ohio; three sisters, Beatrice Bever of Rowlesburg, WV, Mary Stewart of Washington State and Nancy Goss of Westover, WV; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
